The Bourne End Buffaloes Inline Hockey Club has been established since September 1997.

The club was initially setup for an under 18s team focussing on local kids, but due to the popularity, a second team was created on Saturday afternoons. As time past the club grew and expanded to over 3 age groups with a total of over 50 members spanning across and age range of 6 to 18.

As the years went by the club has had much success, taking players to both National and International Tournaments in both America and Canada.

The club has covered much of the South of the UK, travelling to Alton (Hampshire), Andover, Bristol, Bisley, Lymmington, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Rotherham, Swanley. Weymouth.

In the past 6 years the club has created a new sub club called “Learn to skate”, this is a feeder club for kids from the age of 6 to learn the basics of skating before learning inline hockey.

The club has been involved in competitive games for over 18 years playing friendlies and league games,along with Tournaments.

The club joined the British Inline Puck Hockey Association in October 1997  and played their first game against the formerly known Bristol Knights  now known as the Bristol Barracudas.

From 1997 to 2003 saw the club play countless friendlies round the south of England covering Norfolk (Norfolk Dragaons through to Risca in Wales.

The club has since played in 3 leagues, playing 3 years in the National  Inline Roller Hockey Association finishing 2nd in both under 13’s and  under 15’s age group’s in 2003-04 season. And finishing 2nd in Under  13’s and Under 15’s in the 2004-05, and wining the league in Under 13’s and Under 15s in 2005-06 season, and finishing 3rd in Under 18s.

The year 2007-08 season saw the Buffaloes join the BIPHA and played out of  Swanley.

In the season 07-08  the Buffaloes u16’s finished 2nd in the  league , and went to the National Finals held at Rotherham Virtual Ice.

In 2009/10 season saw the senior Buffaloes win the league unbeaten and went on to the National Finals at Rotherham.

In 2014/15 season the junior Buffaloes entered the British Rink Hokey Association, where they finished league runners up,  followed by winning the League tournament

In 2015/16 season, the junior Buffaloes entered two teams both under 12’s and under 16’s, where the Under 12’s finished League Runners Up, and the Under 16’s League Winners
